Pizzeria zombies keep Halloween spirit alive

As if the storm Saturday night wasn’t bad enough.

Visitors to Margherita Pizzeria Woombye could be forgiven for thinking they were in the midst of a zombie apocalypse as they arrived to grab their orders.

Owner, Jury Filanti, left, and chef Riley got into the Halloween spirit with their gruesome get-ups greeting customers as an ominous storm raged outside.

“Thankfully the scary welcome didn’t ruin anyone’s appetite,” Jury said.

“We tried to keep the spirit of Halloween even in this very stormy evening, our customers had a nice laugh and they enjoyed our displays and decorations.”
